Combine physical exercises and conscious breathing with Hatha Yoga and enjoy its beneficial effect on the mind. Meditation, breathwork and physical exercises create balance between heat and coolness, strength and relaxation, and fortify the muscular system. Enjoy these yoga sessions as you develop you more awareness, mindfulness and better flexibility.
When permanent stress results in chronic tense muscles, progressive muscle relaxation can help bring relief. Once again, we can use the body to achieve inner peace. The alternating, reflex-like tension and relaxation of the muscles activates the autonomic nervous system and calms our mind, so we finally feel pleasantly relaxed.
Meridians - in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) - are pathways or networks via which energy circulates through our body and supplies our organs with energy. Moving the joints, tapping and massaging acupuncture points along the meridians has a relaxing effect on the muscles and promotes circulation.
Qi Gong (also known as Qigong or Chi gong) exercises are about activating the life energy "Qi" (Chi) through movement and concentration, harmonising it and getting it to flow. This energy work aims to strengthen the immune system and thus make it easier to ward off illnesses.
This tried and tested system of strengthening and stretching exercises supports your musculoskeletal system, improves flexibility and strengthens the deeper abdominal muscles and pelvic floor. Pilates helps to reduce back pain and, through intensive breathing, provides more energy and helps you restore to your inner centre.
Meditation can be learned by anyone and practised anywhere, whether sitting, lying down or walking. As a concentration exercise, meditation can bring deep relaxation, help to replenish energy stores and to free the mind from negative thoughts, stress and problems. The aim is to find oneself in silence and to escape from the endless carousel of thoughts.
