UNFORGETTABLE HIKING ADVENTURES

The Leutasch mountain valley extends for 16 kilometres at an altitude of 1,130 metres. Leutasch is still considered to be somewhat of a secret holiday destination among nature lovers, where each of the numerous hiking routes, mountain tours and nordic walking trails leads to the most beautiful places. From our hotel, you can explore the Wetterstein Mountains, the Mieminger Range and the Karwendel Mountains.

Whether you’re up for a sweaty challenge in the Wetterstein mountains or a leisurely walk, want to listen to the cheerful murmur of the stream or hike through the dreamy alpine paradise of Gaistal. Did you know that the Alpenhotel Karwendel, the only 4-star hotel in the area, is so close to the Gaistal?

Here, every step will lead you to discover the magnificent mountain world with 650 km of hiking, mountain and via ferrata routes, which have been awarded the "Bergwege- und Wanderwege-Gütesiegel" (Mountain and Hiking Trails Seal of Quality): the famous Leutaschklamm gorge, the Wettersteinhütte hut with its magnificent views, challenging mountain tours, such as those leading to the majestic Gehrenspitze peak, and the many easier hikes in the Gaistal valley on the Ganghoferweg trail to the Gaistalalm, or will you head up to the viewing platform on the Kurblhang? We have plenty more priceless views in store for you!

WANDERLUST

In addition to being able to start your hike, hike or bike ride directly at the hotel, you can also store your hiking boots, poles, rucksack and jacket in your own locker. This way, you will always have all your things in one place and ready to go within just a few moments - nothing can stop you now!
